Teluk Gembira & Seliu Island

This place is a well-known holiday destination for local people as well as tourist who visit Belitung. Teluk Gembira is also known for a seaport of Seliu Island. Seliu village is very beautiful as it covered by white sands and crystal clear blue water surrounding by artistic granite rocks. Most of Seliu people work as fisherman and farmer. Dry fish, dry coconut, manggo and emping (chip) are the food products that produce from Seliu Island. The boat trip to Seliu will take about 30 minutes from Teluk Gembira and it takes one hour to Teluk Gembira from Tanjungpandan.
